With the holiday season approaching, the latest liberal fashion in media bias by omission will be papering over any hard feelings about White House holiday celebrations. Mike White , creator of the most unusual cinematic pairing of the last ten years, ' Chuck & Buck,' is the choice to write another frenemy flick, 'Santa Wars.' In this Scott Rudin- produced project (which just so happens to be based on a true story) two professional Kris Kringles found the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas (also real -- we s*** you not), only to see their friendship go down the chute. The producers of Tin Man , Syfy's dark and splashy spin on The Wizard of Oz , are back with Alice , a twisted take on Lewis Carroll's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland . In a conference call with reporters, Alice director Nick Willing and star Caterina Scorsone talked flying flamingos, Tweedledee and Tweedledum's torture tactics, and what Wonderland would look like 150 years after Alice's original adventure. But the difference is that this film is based on a true story. Based on the nonfiction best seller by Michael Lewis on football player Michael Oher and directed by John Lee Hancock, 'The Blind Side' is an emotionally uplifting tale in which Sandra Bullock excels in her best performance since 'Crash.'
